Great facial expressions!
I like the use of shadow on the ground to suggest the plane. But I don't see how being late for a flight, in itself, is a sacrifice unless the reason they are late was a sacrifice.
i agree with the queen and also like th ashadow of the plane. nice work
Yes, the shadow makes it. Hope tomorrow is better!!
Thanks guys for coming...explanation: we were to sell our appartement the June 7 and to leave on July 15 for our "around the world"... but the purchaser did not want any more to thus buy... our trip was cancelled and delayed. It is a great disappointment for us and a dream which collapses.we'll hope that the future will be better!!!!!
Great story telling with the picture. Too much time has been scarificed to the angry god of Air Travel.
Nice illo - Tony is right! Sorry to hear about your delay, I spent a lot of time in the Bay Area - (born there) and yesterday I was commenting on how much the London weather we had was just like SF.
Love your illustrations--all of them!

The picture illustrates your great dissapoinment and your sons frustration so well, I can feel it. I hope the trip is not delayed for very long, and that you will be winging your way across the oceans soon. Love your artwork, really fresh and to the point!

I hope you'll be getting on your plane soon...the disappointment in your faces is palpable! Love that little shadow of the jet passing over, and I love those skulls on your shirts:>
I like how the perspective and the facial expressions communicate powerlessness and frustration. It's good to see a bad situaltion turn into inspiration for a great drawing. Great gestures! Bon voyage when it happens!!!!!!
I like the composition, the facial expression and the shadow of the plane say it all.
